When will Sky Protect be available for Housing Association residents? I've been 18 years with Sky and I'm a Diamond VIP member and I use Sky Glass, Stream, Mobile and Broadband/Talk so I spend a lot of money with the firm! Every time I try to get Sky Protect it refuses me so I can't be a valued customer!!
It's like being a second class Sky Customer as my money is not good enough and my Sky subscriptions over the last 18 years count for nothing!!

Sky UK (part of Sky Group, a division of Comcast) is not an insurance company: they are acting as an FCA regulated 'introducer' and licencing some copyright branding.
Insurance cover branded using the 'Sky' name is provided by either Domestic & General ( Sky Protect Device Insurance) or Zurich (Sky Protect Home Insurance and Sky Protect Smart Home Insurance)
It is those companies, as licensed underwriters, who offer or decline cover: Sky has no involvement in that process and subscriber history with Sky has no influence on the calculation being made to arrive at any decision.
I'd also note the pages linked above specifically say:
At the moment, we can’t cover everyone for their home insurance. Getting a quote could depend on a few things. Such as your claims history. The size of your property. Or the area where you live. It could be for those reasons that we can’t cover you right now. But as we continue to grow, we aim to make Sky Protect available to more and more people. So, even if you can’t get a quote today, make sure you check again in future.

I was told (when I rang Sky) it was because I was in a Housing Association!

Again, that's a decision for the underwriter: they can choose not to advance cover based on any criteria except where these conflict with 'protected characteristics' (and even that's not an absolute)
