Erroneous Sky Protect direct debit payment taken and not yet refunded

Several weeks ago I arraged to up date my Sky Protect policy with a new one and this is in place now. Shortly after, 2 direct debit payments were taken from my account on the same day which I identified as the old and new policies. I managed, with some difficulty, to speak to someone and was advised arrangements would be made to refund. It is approx 6 weeks since that conversation and is this usual practice with the refund process?

As we are customers here only we can't say what their refund process is like but as it has been a while you might want to get in touch with tjem again about this.
