Unfortunately the battery life is less than 24 hours and we only use it as a door bell. We turned the motion off as we are close to the footpath and there is quite a heavy footfall past our house.
So in the last 24 hours since I have charged it the doorbell has been pressed a total of zero times and yet the battery is already low.
Absolutely pointless.

I have also done this but not really making any difference to the life of the battery so far it has lasted just over 24 hours and i have had to bring it in once again to be charged this is absolutely ridiculous !!!!!!

I've had mine for 2 days, and start of 3rd day battery symbol on app was empty and red, but no low battery notification, but it's still working! I'll see how long it stays on.

**UPDATE** After investigating with a technician via the Live Chat - turns out we had a faulty Doorbell...waiting on replacement being sent 🙂

Battery life on mine isn't too bad, but the chime has to be plugged in to your router, and is so quiet it is almost impossible to hear unless you are in the same room. Also, the live feed on the doorbell camera keeps losing connection with the app, as do some of the sensors. All in all the whole package is a great idea, all relatively easy to set up, but I'm not sure they've got the hardware and software sorted well enough yet.

My doorbell battery is lasting around 14-16 days on a single charge. It's a shame it doesn't have a battery unit you can quickly swap out so you always have a spare ready to go.
I've found that remote viewing fails during the hot weather we're having and sometimes needs a power cycle.
It's not a perfect system but the environmental monitors, door and window sensors, movement sensor all work very well. I'd say the chime and the doorbell are the weakest components. I'd like to see the option to add more door and window sensors as well as more indoor motion sensors. A couple of external cameras would be nice too.
The hardware vendor behind these Sky Protect devices do offer more sensors and external cameras. A few sources have said these are coming at some point.

A nice review.
As others have commented also, on battery performance, extra buying options etc, we have passed this on for consideration to Sky.
One thing, about it failing in hot weather. Would be good if you good feed that back as feedback through the live chat on the app. That for me, does not sound right that it should be doing that.

Same with mine . Spoken to sky and it's a manufacturer issue . Waiting to see what's gonna happen about it .

Seems a replacement doorbell may help in some cases.
