Doorbell synced then internet loss stopped everything

I received my Protect pack yesterday.  Setup the indoor cam with no issue and connected the chime also with no issues.

 

I synced the Doorbell to the Chime 1st time and the firmware was downloading when we had an internet cut for a few minutes.  That was it and it stopped everything in regards to the doorbell syncing to the chime.  The indoor cam is fine still I must add.

 

After hours of it sitting there I tried it again, the chime is fine but the doorbell now won't sync to it.  After pressing the sync button the chime and then straight away pressing the doorbell button I get no voice saying it's connected etc.

 

Charging the doorbell fully hasn't worked, re-installing everything hasn't helped either.  It seems the doorbell mid firmware update being interrupted has stopped things completely.

 

Any other advice before I get in touch with Sky tomorrow about this ?

@RW191978 on the door bell you could try turning it off for 10 minutes the switch to turn it off is behind the flap that you lift on the back to get to the charging port.

It's never good when something is midway through an update and the update is stopped did the doorbell finish the update if not you may need to try forcing it to update again by going into the app

It was turned off for quite a while before trying again and I would assume the update didn't fully happen as the outage happened whilst the information on the phone was saying the update was in progress etc.

 

In the app I have no doorbell option installed, only the chime so can't force any update sadly.
