I've had my doorbell on charge for 48 hours after it died completely. The battery is now on red. When I plug it in I get a solid yellow light not the flashing blue and yellow as described on the instructions. Anyone had these issues and got a fix?

Either way it works for about 5 mins then stops.
This has worked for others in the past;
Try turning the doorbell off, via the switch next to the usb socket under the flap at the back.
Leave off for at least ten minutes.
Turn the doorbell back on and straight away using the supplied usb cable connected to the chime, charge the doorbell for at least 8 hours or overnight.

A solid yellow normally means it's not connected to the chime.
Yiu could try re syncing it, make sure when syncing the doorbell you keep it pressed until it clicks.
If none of that helps, try resetting the doorbell by pressing reset for ten seconds and then resync with chime.

Our doorbell is not 5 months old yet, doesnt take a charge, tried charging it with its power set to off and also tried with the power set to on.
Either way it works for about 5 mins then stops.
Also when it was working if someone rang the bell, it wouldnt ring on my phone for about 30 seconds so by the time i got to the door the person / delivery would have gone.
Sky this tech is substandard, any explanation or can i cancel my policy due to your product not working.

Tried recharging the battery for 8 hours and still it says 6%. Should the switch on the back of the chime be on or off during charging ?

The switch on the back of the video doorbell needs to be on when charging.
If you find the video doorbell is not charging correctly.
Turn the video doorbell off using the switch and leave off for at least ten minutes.
Turn the switch back on and start charging again.

Completely agree what a load of rubbish and a waste of money...
Had it on charge for over 48 hours still flashing blue and yellow can't sync it
When I do get it to work and someone presses it the delay is shocking...

I received mine a few weeks ago and I'm already on my second doorbell and chime which is hugely frustrating! I can sometimes see a huge drop in both the battery and also the signal! When I go to view outside it slowly buffers up to 85% and then says no signal and needs rebooting, as you can imagine I'm paying for a service I cannot use! I have my own entrance to a second story flat and have the chime directly plugged into the router as stated. Sometimes I get the chime when someone rings the doorbell and I often get alerts of people at my door or near by. Has anyone else had these issues? I'm ready to cancel my policy and send the whole lot back to sky as I feel like it's 3rd rate equipment. As you can imagine this is highly frustrating and when I am disabled and want piece of mind if I fall that I can alert paramedics if I have a fall and give them my key safe number. Any helps and tips would be warmly received please ❤️
