I think I've grumbled about this before, but my doorbell camera activates far too late. The path from my drive to the front door is about 5 metres, and the drive goes for about another 6 metres beyond that. I've set the person detection zone to cover the drive as well as the path, but it still doesn't activate until someone is actually right at the front door. As a result, you never get to see the face of the person as they're beyond the camera's frame by that point. You only get the side of their head and then the back of their head as they walk away.
It seems that the camera doesn't pick them up far enough away, because even if I stand on my drive for a while, it still doesn't pick me up and activate until I'm right at the door.
Is this a universal problem or is it just me? Might the camera have a fault?
