If your phone supports Android, with the Google Play store, it should work.
Sounds it maybe possible as you have installed the app.
But, some Xiaomi phones do not us the Google Play store and install apps via a third party store, that can cause issues with installed apps.
As you cannot use the app to view the contact email and phone information.
