Can’t get a quote

I go through all the steps and when I get to the end I get a message saying "sorry, we can't cover you right now". I phoned in and spoke to someone who asked for the quote number. I explained it didn't give me a quote number to which they replied that they could try from their end but would probably just get the same answer that I got, didn't bother doing that as they didn't sound that keen on trying.

Anyone got any advice on solving this, thanks.

Join the club mate, I've no issues getting covered with anyone else

 

They should've spent more time vamping this before it got released.

 

Waiting till next year now myself, only wanted it for the protect kit.

As with when sky glass was released, I presume it's new service glitches. I had the same problem, but as I've had to mention my sky glass tv separately to get insured on my contents insurance, I'm not fussed if sky protect won't step in and take responsibility for their own product. 

If it doesn't work and you get a bad advisor who can't be bothered, don't worry about it and go elsewhere. It's their loss if they don't train right or can't seek to inform customers right.

If it was anything like my quote I wouldnt bother it was 3 times the price of existing insurance before even adding things like accidental cover.

I had the same Issue, you would think it was marketed properly and only email those that could apply... ie certain areas.  It lets you go through the whole thing first....

Bit disappointing really as moving all to sky 

And no reason for the rejection

I have tried six times now to get covered under Sky Protect, only to be turned down down. I do not live in an area prone to flooding or extreme weather and I am in a low crime area. But then I am thinking, is it because I am a Council house tenant? Who knows. 
So I went to Confused.com and found the perfect policy supplied by a Company that actually wants my business!
