'you're not allowed to call this number, please check your settings online
Getting this message with every call, been chatting to advisor via site she is stumped, it's an oldadvisor sa samsunsung j3 2016 but working perfectly, whatsapp is fine, I know there's the same query on here somewhere but cannot find it, please advise someone.? Sky says call them, I can't can I, brilliant.

Sorry not enough info, she had me reset back to factory settings, didn't work. Someone tried to text me, zilch.

Are they premium rate number or standard (01, 02, 03?
If premium then you might need to increase the spend cap:

Hi Twilight, ty for responding, all the numbers I tried were ordinary people's, my brother, friend, optician etc. apparently they now think it's one for the engineers to investigate, they still aren't 100% sure, though.

Thanks. That is very strange. I hope support fix the problem. They may first try sending another SIM card - if they haven't already.
Out of curiosity try another sim (if possible) in the phone to rule out a problem with the device.

Hi All
We were in Spain recently and I could call UK numbers but needed to call a Spanish number. I kept getting this message. I eventually found out that it was a setting on my phone, so hopefully this might help anyone using Android. My account didn't have any blocks on it and a new SIM was unsuccessful, so looked further afield and unblocking via this method fixed the issue. I don't know how it got blocked in the first place!
So this message is not from the network but from Android/Samsung. There's a lot of settings in here, so it's worth having a look through them, for my issue specifically, here's the steps.
To block international calls on a Samsung phone, go to the Phone app > Menu (three dots) > Settings > Supplementary services > Call barring, then enable barring for International calls
