I have activated my sky sim card & used the pac code to transfer my original number but I am still on the number supplied by Sky (not my original number i am moving accross.
Also, I am flying out to Dubai tomorrow morning so would like to know if my international roaming is turned on & my phone will indeed work??

Re: when will my original phone number transfer over
When did you give Sky the pac code you got from your previous network, was it today ?

Re: when will my original phone number transfer over
Hi @GaryB6 porting doesn't happen at weekends so if you gave sky your PAC on Friday Saturday or today then the earliest it will port is tomorrow, but could even be Tuesday. Roaming will work if it's turned on in your phone settings whatever number is in use when you use your sky sim.

Re: when will my original phone number transfer over
Dubai (UAE) is one of the few non-EU territories where the £2 per day roaming passport applies.

It does not need enabling, other than roaming on your device and an appropriate spend cap (or removed) on your account.
But if a PAC is in progress this may cause issues if not completed before you leave the country. Transfers are not processed over weekends. (Hopefully, the current number will persist to work)
