@LB60

I suspect that the call wasn't from Sky so did you give tjem any other details like your account or financial details.

Ad you have been sent this late you might now get someone knock as your door saying they are a courier and that they will send it back to Sky. Do not give it to them as they will not send it to Sky but the person who ordered it.

Havd a read of this link and use the options at the bottom of it to get in

touch with Sky about this:

Hi @LB60   I'm afraid that you appear to be a victim of https://www.sky.com/help/articles/account-takeover . You will need to contact Sky. Please see Welcome below for information about this community (not Sky customer services).

Re: suspected fraud call from sky

I've literally had this happen over the last week and was stupid enough to just hand over to Royal Mail instead of putting the returns label on. It is unfortunately a scam, so now going through with the fraud team. They are very clever and will completely screw you over.

Re: suspected fraud call from sky

I also received a scammer call from someone pretending to be from Sky.  They offered me discount on my current plan (but didn't specify TV or broadband) and also a free iPad as I'm a longtime user.  They know my name, phone number and email address.  To proceed to receiving a free iPad, they guided me to order on Sky.com.  Somehow the first iPad order appeared as a technical error and then guided me to order again.  They said I'll receive two packages, one is iPad and one is the accessories.  I suspect they'll pretend to be wrong delivery and send a fake courier to collect.

We’ll give you pre-paid returns packaging to send the parcel back to us.
