After the two credit checks are complete (it may take longer at a weekend) the most up to date information on your particular order should become available at
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order
We have no insider knowledge regarding stock levels or delivery timescales. When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from DPD which will have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

If that message was from Sky then it will be on it's way to DPD who will then give you a one hour delivery slot when they have it.

my order has now been dispatched to DPD. if dpd receive my parcel in a bit, will they deliver it today or tomorrow?

Won't be today otherwise you'd have tracking info from DPD.

ive got tracking info and they said they will deliver it to my address, but they are waiting to collect it. does this mean delivery will be today

Possibly tomorrow as it depends on when it arrives at the DPD depot. If they do get it in time then as I said they will contact you with a one hour delivery slot when it is due to go out for delivery.
