I recently changed to SKY mobile - got all the transfer emails through (did have atemp number which transferred to my phone when the SIM was installed) but still cant change my number in the seetings app on my Iphone to the ported number (it is very old like me). Tried it several time tunring the phone off and on, taking out the sim etc. SKY seems to have technical difficulties so Im at a loss. Apple says I will loose the duplicity in four days.
Any ideas apart from updating my phone?

Apparentlty you can do a hard change in the network settings to clear the fault. Not going to lie, a lively man im the apple store did magic fir me and solved the problem.

Sky contact centres are currently affected by the global Crowdstrike IT issues.

I would observe that the iPhone 6 is a couple of months away from its tenth birthday.
