Enquiry regarding phone delivery date

 I have recently ordered an iPhone 15 pro max (titanium black) last thursday (15/11/23). I couldn't track my phone delivery date through sky, it's showing that something went wrong. Please let me know how long it will take.

I ordered an Iphone 15 pro - white titanium on the 1/11/2023 and still nothing back to me yet. I was told 3 to 4 weeks waiting time. I hope they update status soon. will keep you updated when I get a dispatch notice.

I can officially say I now have my new device! It came today. If you have received an email from dpd I highly recommend downloading the DPD app as it's the fastest way to get all the updates.

From my experience, you need to order well before 9pm - even if it says "in stock for next day delivery - order before 9pm". I'd say 6pm is the latest realistically you need to order by. 

 

Typically if you order a phone late afternoon/early evening DPD will have it with them around midnight. If you haven't had the DPD email that says something like "we're expecting your parcel from Sky" by midnight then you won't get it the next day.

@Jessap if you are talking about the order tracking page on the Sky website or Sky app - this is a known bug/glitch that affects certain customers. It has been around for at least a year and it doesn't seem Sky know how to fix it or have any intention to fix it.

 

I've been a Sky customer for over a year now and had it since the beginning. I've mentioned it several times over the phone to Sky and that's what I've been told. Frustrating as you can't track your order properly - you'll still get emails etc though.

@Jess32 - when you placed the order, it would have given a timescale for delivery. It would have said one of the following:

 

In stock - order by 9pm for next day delivery

Less than a week

1-2 weeks

2-3 weeks

3-4 weeks

4+ weeks / over 4 weeks

 

If it's more than a week, then your order will show "on back order" or similar. It will change to "Order awaiting dispatch" when Sky actually get the stock in their warehouse.

 

From my experience (I've ordered plenty of phones, including ones on back order), Sky's timescales have been fairly accurate. They may get the stock in before, but usually it's towards the end of the timescale they quote. My last order said "1-2 weeks" and I got it delivery after 1 week.

You aren’t talking to Sky Customer Services here. This is a forum where customers try to help other customers. We therefore can't see if your order went through correctly. Give Sky a call to clarify the current state of play.

UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0818 number.

You will find that similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you back to the forum. Be aware we’ve been informed the lines are busier than usual at the moment.

I have contacted sky and the black is out of stock on back order and they have no confirmed date that the stock will be received so they have let me change the colour to blue and the new phone will be received next week🤞

Hi I ordered a iphone 15 pro max (white 256gb) on the 23/10/2023 and got a message from sky on monday saying that i would be expecting to have it delivered by the 25th nov. However when I go onto the sky app it's still saying it's on back order.

iPhone 15 Pro 128gb natural titanium was received today, yes it finally arrived.

 

The sky order tracking page is pretty useless and in my experience doesn't seem to serve a purpose.

 

as mine displayed as "coming soon" since I first placed the order up until the DPD email landed.

I pre-ordered an Iphone 15 pro max in Natural titanium on 18th september, got no updates or contact, nothing. Called multiple times to check what was going on but no updates. Called again on 23rd october and was advised I could get it quicker if I cancellled the order and changed the colour. I did this and I still do not have the delivery more than a month later. 2 months in total waiting, I just wish there was more communication between Sky and customers. I’ve had to pay to keep my current plan in place with EE so I can at least make calls and have data in the meantime. A bit disappointing.

Hi

I ordered iphone 15 pro max Natural titnium on 16th and got email telling the delivery expected in 1-2 weeks. Received it today at around 9:30 which is in 8 days time. Sky tracking has a glitch but dpd worked good and I received as per the schedule.
