Re: iPhone 15 Order Delays

@Chloe-W22 that's great, thanks for the update on why you've closed the other discussion (only a few hours too!).

Can we also get an official update as to order statuses for the people that have been waiting in excess of two weeks?

I think that's what most people are waiting for... there's been a lot of "feeding back" to the business, but nothing been fed to the customers.

@Urbles  Community Staff don't have access to Forum users individual accounts so they would be unable to provide specific updates ref orders.

However every year Apple release a new product demand outstrips supply and many people wanting the latest thing end up with their orders on "Back Order or "Awaiting stock" which means Sky (and other providers) are waiting for new stock from Apple.

Your order tracking page is the best place to be updated, neither Sky Staff here or fellow customers can provide updates to stock levels.

Re: iPhone 15 Order Delays

@GD1 I'm aware of that and I also work in supply chain so have a fair understanding (and tolerance/patience) towards the intricacies.

However, there's issues here that should be explained.

No one even knows how the allocations are working.  Who should be "at the top of the queue" so to speak?

Naturally, you'd assume it's "first come, first served", however we've seen numerous times that this isn't the case.

Re: iPhone 15 Order Delays

@GD1 indeed, which is why (with all respect!) we're asking Sky for that answer.

Sky representatives DO frequent the forum, we've established that.

This has had light coverage in the press, which "generic" responses have been issued - there's clearly an issue, somewhere in the process.

@Urbles  As advised the CM's have no direct input of the Phone ordering or allocation.   It's unlikely you'll get such info from Sky via the forum

But as you advised you know how this works then you should know that phone type & colour may will play a part on stock levels the most popular type & colour for example will be slower to get restocked due to popularity the less popular colours may get despatched quicker as there are more of these to go around due to being less popular.

Other than this post there is nothing more I can add.

I second this. Unfortunately, the Community Management team don't access accounts and provide specific customer information so one update may not be applicable to the next user, sorry about that.

But what we can do is if you don't have an update on your order and haven't contacted our colleagues in the contact centre yet we have a great bunch of Community Messaging advisers on hand to support forum queries where they can. This is how the service works - see here.

Let us know if you need to speak to them.

Re: iPhone 15 Order Delays

Hi all,

Just for info, I originally ordered a 15 pm natural titanium with sky on the 16th absolute no comms and just the same vague useless info from chat, messenger etc. Now I have just ordered a blue 15 pm 512gb with ee. Stated on their website expect dispatch in 3 days, over the phone they said by 7 days as they are getting a shipment in that time frame. I ordered and tracking says dispatch in 24hrs. Once this arrives I will cancel my order with sky. EE already better with comms.

Re: iPhone 15 Order Delays

Following on from my other post - I just called sky and asked for an update as I haven't had one since the "will update by 6th" text. He said natural PM are looking at 3rd November as updated to them by Apple today. I questioned why other people who ordered after me are been told their delivery is the 13th oct, he said this isnt happening as Apple have halted all delivery's due to the over heating issues .. not sure if this was another little fib from them as to why they are delayed.  But looks like 3rd nov it is 🥺 ordered 15th.

Re: iPhone 15 Order Delays

Received a text saying delivery by the 11th. I ordered the 15 pro max in black 256gb on the 15th and received confirmation same day at 10pm. This is my first update since then.

Re: iPhone 15 Order Delays

Wow these orders are getting more and more pushed back. Even for me ordering on the 26th with a 4-6 week espected time frame its looking to be more like December at this rate 🤦🏼‍♂️
