I am trying to get through to a Sky advisor using chat but as usual can't find this option so am asking the community.
I was just about to upgrade from an iPhone 12 mini to an iPhone 15 through Sky mobile. When going through the process it asks if I would like to trade in my old phone which I said yes to. It came up that I owed £110 for the phone and that the phone is worth exactly this. I then read through the agreement and the total I would be paying which worked out as £903.
I was all set to do thie when a colleague suggested looking at the Apple website itself. When doing this, I am offered £150 as a trade in value and the total I would be paying back for the full cost of the phone is £799.
I am just a bit shocked that Sky would offer £40 less for the trade in and charge £104 more for the new phone and wondered if I am reading this wrong or missing something or if it's just best to go with Apple directly. I quite like using Sky and having everything come through on one bill, but not at the cost of £150!
Thanks and sorry if this is the wrong place for this!

Nope, sounds correct. Of course, Apple won't sell you a dataplan...

Sky's plans are absolutely fine and I'm staying with them for data, just wondered if I was missing something on the pricing

Nope. Many just look at the monthly amount without looking at the bigger picture...
