I recently installed a Sky Mobile SIM to my iphone 14 pro. I provided the PAC code so have transferred a mobile number to the new SIM to replace the one it came with.
I am able to make phone calls and use my data, but I cannot send SMS text messages.
Try refreshing the network settings so go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.
