iPad Air monthly payment

I've been trying to purchase 2 IPad Air and pay monthly for 36 months. However, even if I select 36 months, after inserting details and go ahead with the purchase it then shows me 48 months. I'm a bit confused. Can someone help? Thanks

Swap 36 is a 48 month contract, what the 36 part means is that after 36 months you can swap it for another device if you want.

Then you need to select Swap24.

As above, Swap36 is a 48 month contract as per below:

If you do select swap24 then the monthly payments will be higher due to the shorter length of the contract.
