I am trying to transfer my eSIM from my old device which is an iPhone 15 to an iPhone 16.
I followed the process on the device only to then be told "your sim is not supported - the esim in your old iPhone does not support esim transfer. Contact sky for assistance".
So I have done several things - firstly I tried requesting a replacement eSIM via my account - completed the process and all I need is the verification email which is needed to be entered when scanning a QR code. No email received.
So I get onto sky support... they do the same thing, say that it could take up to 4 hours to receive the same email... no email received.
Phone sky support again... expert does the same thing, says to wait 30mins for email... nothing.
Speak to expert again, says to try the transfer process again.. just going around in circles and no one seems to be able to do anything with a system that is clearly broken!
It feels like the only resort is to order a physical SIM but that doesn't seem to be an option
