Discussion topic: eSIM on my new iPad air

My existing iPad has what I believe a data only sim. When I request a code to convert to an eSIM sky send it to a number for the sim but my existing iPad doesn't react. I don't get the code. How do I convert the sim to eSIM?

I have but there doesn't seem to be the answer I'm looking for. When sky send a code to the number registered with my current sim, my iPad doesn't receive it. Maybe because it can't accept messages??

Try putting that sim in your phone and see if the code comes through @Stelee68 ?
