Posted by a Sky employeeHi all,
Thanks for continuing to comment about what has been happening with your phone signal issues.
We employed a change recently and are keen to hear any feedback from customers.
If you are still using an eSIM and had experienced signalling issues, can you confirm if this is now resolved?
Thanks,

summary: the good folks in Support, after hours on the phone , they tried everything, but could not solve to activate my esim. They got stuck because the eSIM activation code did not work and they could not issue me another code via email. Only via SMS but my physical SIM was deactivated at that point so impossible to receive an new code via SMS.
So in summary Sky has not given the right tool to Support to fix this issue. They could not fix it so they sent me a new physical SIM, so was without a line for 2 days.
Avoid doing an eSIM conversion with Sky!

I recently converted my physical sim to an eSIM. Now, 90% of the time my phone shows no service unless I switch on/off airplane mode and service returns for about 30 seconds.
I can't ring Sky because service doesn't last long enough on my phone now.

Hi I needed a new number with sky due to personal reasons so they ordered a new sim and eSIM was the quickest way. I've not not had signal since I set it up. I'm not technical so o don't know if I've done wrong. I removed the physical old sim as that was confusssinf the phone saying I had business and private. Should I have left it in? I need a phone for personal safety at the moment and I can't speak to human at sky online and obv can't call as I have no signal

Hi, Converted from a physical SIM to an eSIM whilst settin up a new I Phone.
Installed the ESim and the connection to the Sky network was identified and shown in the profile on the settings.
the issue is that the network connection despite apparent good coverage in the area, keeps dropping out. It will show and work ok, then will indicate no network available. This applies to wherever I travel with the phone.
with the physical SIM I had no problems. I've had to resort to using WifiCalling at home to maintain a signal. I looked through the help guides, latest software updated etc, I've even deleted the eSIM and reinstalled it and have the same issue. Thanks

Me and others are having the same issue also. New eSIM last night, no signal, no ability to receive calls. Replace the eSIM, and the same issue happening to. At least one other person I know is having the same issue. Seems to be happening on newly issued eSIMs as someone else who has had an eSIM for a while is not having any issues.

Bought a new iPhone 15 yesterday and activated the eSIM. However I have no signal anywhere unless I restart the phone which isn't right.

I've done the same steps as you @Morphs723 and still have network dropping out after 2 days.
New iPhone 15, tried two eSIMs but both can't hold a connection. I've ordered a physical sim but would like a resolution on if this is an eSIM/Sky/O2/Apple issue.
