do i have to activate my new sky sim card if i already have a sky sim card?

hi i am tranferring my data from an old iphone xr to a new iphone 14 in my name, i was already with sky before and i want to keep my number and all my old data, i know it sounds like a stupid question, but do i have to use the sim that came with my phone?

You need to use the sim you had in your iphone XR in your new iphone and don't activate the one that came with your new one.

The data stays on your account and the sim, the only way you would lose it all is if you were to cancel your Sky Mobile account so you had no active sims on the account.

im just updating my new phone now so when its done and 'set up' i can put my old sim in there
