Hello, i have a recently chnged to skymobile from Vodafone using the PAC method, I had to get my Vodafone Smart N10 mobile unblocked first.
But I can not use the internet when away from home (i'm connected to wifi at home).
I go to sky's online help and vodafone mobiles not listed.
on the device i go to APNs and click it says "Access Point Name settings are not available for this user".
PLEASE Can anyone help or advise what i need to do, i swapped service provider because it was a cheaper deal but if i now have to buy a new mobile then what was the point

Can you manually enter APN details?

i've tried that now, got as far as entering sky mobile internet, mobil.sky where told online, but it says to enter default under MCC 234 MNC 57, not sure where that is supposed to be entered as under those it says authentication type not set and if i tapit i get coices that aren't default, it shows none, PAP, CHAP, or both! unless it means on the APN type which currently says not set.

This should be what you need:
Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.

Thank you for the responses, i've had a long conversation on the phone with skymobile helpand after many checks, rebooting and trying the sim card in another mobile, it seems its probably down to a dodgy sky sim card so another is being sent out.
