If you want to move your number to Sky from a different network then this is what you need to do:

Buy the Sky sim
Activate it when it arrives but do not put it in your phone.
Get pac code from your current supplier
Give Pac code to Sky
When your current sim stops working insert your Sky sim in the phone.
You can give Sky your pac code online here:
