I have a new iPhone 15, I set up the Sky SIM initially with a new phone number until my previous number was transferred. I provided details of my old phone number and PAC code to transfer to this new phone. With a few stumbles, I made the switch and my new phone seems to work ok for making and receiving calls, and the same with iMessage. The problem is that when I check my device details in Settings>My Name-Apple ID and scroll down to Active Devices and look at my phones "Device Info" all details are correct except that the phone number displayed is the original Sky Number that came with the SIM.
There isn't an option on that settings page to change it. All other settings where the phone number is displayed show the correct phone number.
I don't know what effect this will have but I would prefer to set it up correctly. All my web searches relate it back to the Apple ID but this all shows correctly.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Bernard

Thanks for the reply @caesarome
I gave them the details as soon as I placed the order for the phone, they said that they would switch in 2 days but it went to day 3. After the confirmation message from Sky confirming that the old number was now in use I needed to make a few changes in settings to change the Sky number to my old number, I think mainly in iMessage..
Thanks
