Wrong number coming up on my phone

I got sky mobile Christmas time wanted to keep my number..it was working now when sending txt message it showing up as sky mobile number which I didn't want

Keep your number from where?  An existing Sky SIM or another provider?

Have you tried a network reset? This will delete all WiFi connections as well as refreshing the number.
