Wi fi connection on cruise

Hi all don't know if anyone can advise please. Going on a cruise at the end of July and wanted to know the cheapest way to connect to WiFi on the days we are at sea. P and O offer packages of either £14 or £20 per day but wondering if I can do this cheaper? TIA Paul

When you are at sea (and not near a port) then you're only option will be the service provided by the boat*.  (There's no Sky option)

You don't say where you are cruising but if you are in certain 'rest of world' locations the roaming charges can be large.  (Thousands of pounds per GB)

* via satellite which isn't 'cheap' either

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Short of taking your own Starlink setup, no.  Once out of the distinctly limited range of onshore cellular masts (which, as @PandJ2020 indicates might well be extremely expensive anyway) you are entirely reliant on the link provided by the cruise line over their own big two-way dish : that's kind of inevitable when out at sea...
