Why are SKY so bad.

Why has SKY's level of customer service plummeted in the past few months??

Sadly the customer service you receive from  SKY is abysmal compared to what it used to be. Im a former employee and  Ive been with SKY 15years and up until last few months ive never had an issue..but oh my god are they making up for it.

I contacted SKY 3mnths ago to report an issue with my fairly new handset, they said they would send packaging so i can send it back to get repaired as it was still under warranty, and here i am 3 months later still without my handset. Ive called dozens of times and spoke to call centres all over the world, passed from one person to another as no one wants to take responsibilty and have been lied to numerous times.

Latest update is its been sat in a box since 7th July and not even been looked at yet, was looked at today and told they dont have the parts necessary to fix it so no timescale on when it will be fixed or when ill receive it back. If it wasnt so ridiculous it would be laughable...never in all my years have i come across such an atrocious level of customer service, oh and try and complain..it gets you absolute nowhere.

Not good enough SKY!

Perhaps worth noting that Sky Group doesn't actually do those jobs, largely because they are a giant media company, MVNO and ISP rather than a mobile phone repair shop.

Cellular hardware investigation is all outsourced, I believe to a bit of Ingram Micro who also handle the 'Swap' trade-in program.

Sky Mobile

Avoid SKY Mobile at all costs,never experienced such an unorganised shambles in my life. SKY Mobile have had my handset since June..sent it back under warranty for repair. Have been lied to and fobbed off on numerous occasions and still have no idea where my handset is or when I will receive it back..laughable but disgraceful at the same time.

@Greg2210

I have moved your post to the Sky Mobile board as it has nothing to do with Sky Talk landlines.

edit: you've already posted about this so threads merged to provide some history to the issue.

What have Sky said when you've asked for a progress update?
