This has happened to me too today!! Glad Im not the only one

I was in the middle of making a call at 6.20am and it cut me off and then gave me the message that I do noy have permission to call. You cant even call Sky!!!

I've started getting this exact message this morning when trying to call anybody. People are able to call me and I was able to call 150 from my iPhone, but trying to call anyone else I get the same your not allowed to call this number please check settings. Tried all trouble shooting recommendations with no luck. Sky said I would get a call back at some point as they passed the problem to some department that could look into this.

Lets hope they fix it soon. I'm fed up with Sky mobile.  I'm always having issues with them. Thought EE was bad. 

I have no other phone's I can use either, done away with my landline few years ago.

@Nick108  Glad you managed to contact Sky 150. It wouldn't allow me earlier. The website still says no issues found in my area.  Be interesting to see if it's the whole of the UK or certain area's.

Yes, very strange as to why people are able to call me and I was able to call 150. I've noticed it won't send text messages to people either but I'm able to send imessage through my 5G to people with iPhones. So the data is working. I'm in Barnsley, Yorkshire.

This is happening to me too!! What's going on? Have tried the workaround adding +44 but it still doesn't work, cannot make a single outgoing call and have no idea if I can receive calls

@Nick108 I've just tried sending a normal text message and you're right, that's not going through either. Fingers and toes crossed Sky fix this soon.  It's getting frustrating now.

Can make no outgoing calls

Tried to contact sky can make no outgoing calks at all. I can text messages but phone calks disconnected on any numbers.  Its my only phone so cannot contact anyone.

Im not getting a message when i try to make a call. It just says disconnected. Im concerned as my mobile is my only phone i have. I can receive texts but no phone calls. I just cant make phone calls. Im disabled and contact with doctors is vital. I cant see where this problem is mentioned by sky id like to track progress on resolving this. Its urgent i get my phone service back!

It could also be beneficial being registered with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help now or in the future. Once registered there are also different methods of communication with this team other than phoning

Discussion topic: Why am I not allowed to make calls.?

No matter what number I dial, I get an automated message saying "You're not allowed to call this number, please check your settings online." The phone line then goes dead. 

Service in my area is apparently fine so what is going on? Am I the only one experiencing this issue?
