When can I swap my phone?

I have an iphone 15 pro that I got in November 2023 - this month I will complete the 24th payment and will have 1 year left on the contract.

I have two questions:

1. How do I figure out when I can swap? If my contract is 36 months, does that automatically mean I am on swap24? It's not letting me swap online showing me this - how do I make it work?

2. Will this automatically cancel the contract or do I need to pay anything additional to Sky after returning the phone?

You can swap at anytime after 31 days or until the credit agreement is fully paid.  You do not have to swap at 24 months.  However, this is point at which the residual value of the phone should cover the outstanding credit.

If you cannot swap online then you'll need to call Sky (150) to arrange it.

If the residual value of the phone covers the outstanding credit then you won't owe any additional amount on your next bill.  If there's a shortfall then you have to pay it in full on the next bill.

However, for a 'swap' you have to take out a new contract as part of the trade in. i.e. start afresh with a Swap24.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
