Weird change to ringing tone when I make calls

Hi, very recently when I make calls, the sound I hear when ringing the other person has changed. I checked with my phone manufacturer and they say it's from the carrier.

Any ideas how I can change it back to normal?

Hi, thanks. No I haven't been abroad. It's a Google Pixel 7a, only had it a few weeks but it was "normal" until a few days ago.
