Weak security

Since the latest Apple update to 17 the WiFi on my iPhone says weak security what can I do to change this please

As above, whilst the latest standards are 'better' there is nothing to be concerned about.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Sky Q and Sky Broadband Hubs do not support WPA3, which is what Apple now consider to be the minimum.  Contacting Sky support will not change this, and everyone but Apple thinks WPA2 is still adequate.

 

The new Sky Max Hub does do WPA3, but that's an expensive way to get rid of an Apple message.

Hi.

I also had this weak security message on my iPad when iOS 17 was due for update, after asking a friend I contracted Sky technical support, who ran through some checks with me and after about  45mins while it was updating he said there was nothing to worry about regarding the security, to just ignore the message, but advised not using outside my home. Hope this info is of any use to anyone.
