Using sky mobile overseas

I'm going on holiday soon. Do I need to tell sky to add this £2 passport thing so I can use my day plan?

Hi @Ally14  no you dont need to tell sky. Just make sure roaming is turned on in your phone settings and you have set a spend cap . As soon as you send a text, make a call or use some data it kicks in. Be aware it's only in certain countries that it works, if you are in a rest of the world country then the charges are much higher.

Re: Using sky mobile overseas

Yeah it's the Netherlands I'm going to.  So if it costs £2 a day why do I need to put a cap on my spend?  If I can use all my piggy bank?

If you don't set a spend cap @Ally14  we have been informed by Sky that roaming may not work. If you plan on using it for 5 days then set the spend cap at a minimum of £10 etc.
