Using names instead of numbers on Sky Mobile website/app

I have 4 SIMs on my account. In my Account Summary page, I have a drop-down showing which SIM I'm currently looking at - Is there any way I can assign names to the SIMs to make it easier to remember which person's phone I'm looking at please?

Hi @MurrayFan and anyone else looking at this thread *waves*

 

We've done it! You can now rename your SIMs in your account. 

 

If you go to https://www.sky.com/manage/mobile/mobile-settings and then change the name in the box below. You will need to scroll back up and select a new number to then re-name.

 

It's glorious:

I don’t use Sky mobile but really it would seem like a good idea if it hasn’t been implemented

This has been suggested before and it is a good idea but I have no idea if Sky will implement this.

This is on a to-do list somewhere. We looked at it around August time last year but the change was delayed. I'm not sure on the current status. 

 

It is on our radar though and I agree would make sense. I've got 5 numbers to keep track of myself!

do you know if this will filter through into the My Sky App? I've just changed it on my online account on the website, but My sky App still has the numbers showing.

No way! i was thinking about asking this as i have 4 sims and it's really annoying, but i thought there would be no way of doing it (from the settings i looked at) so didn't bother to ask.
