Discussion topic: Used 1GB overnight when connected to wifi

We use an iphones and upgraded our plans yesterday. We have been home since and phone shows connected to wifi. My plan however shows both have used over 1 GB. This has been overnight while asleep! Any ideas or has this happened before?

Have you actually used that data, or have you been given a pro rata amount of data until your next billing period?

Updated data package yesterday afternoon and was updated to 10GB. This morning it's 8.64GB. Not left the house so a tad confused!

Think I may understand now! We renewed so it has taken off what was used from last months package as that had just renewed! Thank you!
