Use phone on a cruise
Can I use my data on a Mediterranean cruise?

Re: Use phone on a cruise
Depends.
The cruise ship itself will charge you (and usually quite expensive).
If you are near land then you should be able to connect and activate the roaming passport for £2 per 24 hours. Careful, as some countries are not covered (e.g. monaco) and you are charged at 'rest of world' rates - around £2,000 per Gig. (Yes, two thousand pounds)
Set your spend cap carefully...

Re: Use phone on a cruise
And perhaps note that only EU coastal waters within range of a land-based mast standing in an EU country qualifies for £2 roaming: the majority of the Med isn't European....
