Upgraded phone but when I try and get a code to change to an e-sim I get a message 'sending failed'

I recently upgraded my phone from an iPhone 11 to an iPhone 15pro. The old phone had a physical sim card but apparently I need to convert to an 'e-sim' for the new one. I have tried to do this but when it comes to sending me a code to get started, I get a message on MySky saying 'sending failed'. To say I'm frustrated would be an understatement, and I'm thinking of just sending the phone back.

All UK iPhones have SIM slots - you only need to move the SIM from old to new phone.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
