Unlocking my phone to sell on

I have got my new phone today but I'm wanting to sell on my old phone , how do I unlock the old phone to sell it with no SIM card in it

If it was supplied by Sky it's already unlocked to any network.

I understand that , it's unlocking my old phone so I can sell it as it is currently locked

Yes the old phone is also sky mobile , however I have had it for 3 years ... and I need to unlock it again to sell due to having a new sky mobile phone

Then is shouldn't be locked as per the first reply.

It's not network locked - but the device may need a factory reset to remove an PIN lock...

Thank you ... so it's just a factory reset to take the pin lock off ?

Yes, but it's easier if you know the pin to unlock it.

It's my old phone so I know the pin 🙂 - just got my new one so it's just taking my old one back to basics really
