Find out moreHi @Anonymous normally you don't get your full data allowance until after your first bill as it's pro ratered and you only get a certain amount of the monthly allowance so not sure if this applies to unlimited data plans but it may be confusing Skys systems ?

Find out moreWhat date did you activate your sim and what date is the billing date because the chances are as @63johnw has said you are not getting the full data allowance as what you get is based on the number of days before it resets which is the billing date.

I'm getting this message too.
Spoke to sky twice about it and they've confirmed there is no fair usage policy for the unlimited data plan
Mine is in a 5g router and they've said they can't see any reason why this is happening.
A reboot of the router brings it back online so it's not being capped as such.

Terms and conditions say otherwise but who knows...

I'm getting this all the time now.
Don't even have to use any data, as soon as I connect or use the sim it says I've run out of mobile data.
I work for sky, but can't get an answer as to why it's doing it other than there is a known issue for it

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Adam+Fezza what is your monthly data allowance as if you have chosen the 100mbit allowance then that would be used up in seconds on a modern smartphone.

I'm on the unlimited data plan but every time I use the SIM it loads a window saying ive run out of data

Did you find a solution to this? I switched to Sky 2 months ago, and have the exact same problem. I've spoken to Sky, and they are useless. They say they'll look into it and fix it... and nothing changes. Looks like I'll have to put up with this until the end of my contract, and then dump them for another network. What's the point of having unlimited data and 5G, if you connection constantly cuts off!
