I need to order a new sim for my phone but this seems to be impossible. It's been fine for the last 2 years until now and I confirmed the phone is ok by testing a friends sim in it.
At the moment I cant make or receive calls or texts which rules out getting an esim (emergency calls only).
How do i get a new sim sent out??
Have tried it all on the sky website and sky mobile app which actually does have the option to order a replacement sim and just throws an error up on the screen when ordering.
Is there an option to chat to a human other than the virtual assistant?

If you want a sim with the same number then you need to use the replacement option when ordering otherwise the only other option is to order another one which will have a different number as you can not transfer the number from one Sky sim to another one,

If not and this link doesn't work you will have to either use another phone or contact Sky via one of their social media sites, links to which are at the bottom of this page:

Just to add to this. Spent all day on a messenger chat where the final word was to phone the replacement sim department.
Have since called them 3 times and gone through trying to get a replacement sim sent out. Each time they've failed and cannot send one out. Seems such an easy task but almost impossible. 5hrs of my day and still no sign of a replacement. On hold for 40mins whilst they scratch their heads then cut off as the department's now shut.
Think i'll try and get a PAK code instead

To follow up on this, still no replacement sim. Spent now more than 10 hrs on the phone to Sky.
Use this number for my business which i will have lost customers.
Sim went faulty on 2nd May. A case was raised with the back office team, 1 week later they knew nothing about it.
Is there anyone here from Sky who can help with this ?
