Unable to make calls or send messages.. Sky mobile keeps asking for PUK number.. what’s going wrong

Have been with Sky mobile for a while.. suddenly unable to make calls or send/receive messages.. Sky keeps asking for asking for PUK number.. I don't understand

Thank you.. now it states SIM locked? I am elderly and technology left me behind years ago.. what do I do now.. ask for a new SIM?? Thank you for you help.. much appreciated 👍🤩

If eight zeros (00000000) didn't work and the default sim pin of 4 zeros (0000) doesn't work either then you will need to contact Sky to ask them to send you a replacement sim.
