I dont understand why not?
I have lots of phones and i can just take my sky sim out of one and put it in another.
It would be better if i had a duplicate sim to use another phone on the same sky plan.
Is it because of you cant use two phones with the same number on the network at the same time issue, rather than billing?

SIM's have unique indentifiers have can only be associated with one number. There's no such thing as a 'duplicate SIM'.
