Trouble loading FB and meetip.app on phone

For two weeks I've not been able to see pictures on FB, even though the text is there. My meetup app won't load. I've done all sorts thinking it was my phone, but today in the local library everything worked perfectly using their free WiFi. I've followed tests done by SKY and they say it's OK- but it clearly isn't!
