You don't need to inform Sky all you need to do is to turn on roaming on your device. You will then be charged £2 per 24 hours use and this is activated when you make a call, send a text message or make a call. Calls to UK landlines and UK mobiles are included by calls to local numbers in the country are not as these will be charged at international rates.
