Travelling to USA
I want to use my phone for texting whilst in the USA how do I arrange this?

Hi @Lethers you shouldn't need to do anything other than make sure roaming is active in your phone settings. Make sure your monthly spend cap is set high enough to cover the £2 daily charge for your stay length. Bear in mind sending one text will trigger the £2 charge.

I saw n Sky that's a daily charges of £2, does this only apply when I use phone? I will be staying with my son so will only need my phone occasionally when out of the house

Hi @Lethers it applies if you make a call, send a text or use a small amount of data and lasts for 24 hours during which time you can use your home allowance and have access to your piggybank . If you don't want to trigger the charge then turn off mobile data, roaming and activate flight mode before leaving the UK. Then when available only turn on your WiFi setting to give access to any free WiFi spots.
