Travelling to Singapore how do I get phone to work once there

Hi I'm travelling to signapore fir 3wks how do I get my mobile to work out there people have said buy local SIM card as pay as u go ? Will my phone accept this

Hi @Stevenwil  if your phone was purchased from sky it will be unlocked and can be used on any network. If you use your sky sim it will be extremely expensive so either use free WiFi or get a local sim. To avoid charges to your sky sim either remove it before you leave the uk or turn roaming off, mobile data off and enable flight mode before leaving the UK (if you do it after leaving then chances are the phone will connect to the local network on arrival and incur charges) then when free WiFi is available turn on WiFi while still in flight mode.
