Hi @PamelaF  dont use your sky sim, it will cost a fortune. Either get a local sim or just use WiFi when available. To avoid accidentally incurring charges turn off mobile data and roaming in your phone then turn on flight mode BEFORE leaving the UK. Too late if you do it on the plane or when you land.

@PamelaF

This is what you will be charged if you use your Sky sim:

£4,320 per GB (yes this is correct)

£4.68 per minute Calls to local or UK mobile and landline numbers

£2.10 per minute to receive calls

£0.72 per text message to UK numbers and mobiles

£0.58 per picture message(MMS)

So either use Wifi only or get and use a local sim. To avoid such charges make sure mobile data and roaming is turned off before you leave the UK.

Multiple websites offer advice to would-be tourists about every conceivable destination on the planet.  The country name and 'mobile' as a search term is generally enough to return relevant results.
