I have just activated my new Sky phone. How can I transfer my old Sky number to the new phone? Please make any replies as simple as possible as I am 74 years old and my ex-son-in-law used to do all this kind of stuff for me. Thank you in advance.

You cannot transfer a number within the network.
Any new SIM you activate will have a new number.
If you want to retain your number you have the following options:
1. Put your old SIM in the new phone (and cancel the new SIM within the cooling off period).
2. Transfer your old number out of the network and back to the new SIM.
3. Ask Sky if they will cancel your new SIM and apply the offer to your old SIM.
