Transferred number from EE and now anyone on the EE network cant call me.

recently got an iPhone 16 pro max and Sim deal and then transferred my number from EE. i am using an ESim. now, my friends and family who are on EE can no longer call me and they receive a "this number has not been recognised, please try again" message?

Yes, I can call and text as normal, my partner can text me too but think that is because we both use imesssge and that is using data
