Transfer my mobile number to another person
I have a mobile contract in my name, yet i dont use that number and another family member has been uaing it. I want to transfer the number to them, so it is under their name and they can then pay for the contract, and move it to other providers should they wish, witjout me having to get involved. I tried giving them the PAC number but because rhe number was in my name and the new account was in theirs tbe providors would not allow the number to be transferred. Any suggestions? Sky told me i cant transfer the number and other person would have ro get a new account with a new number.

@GST What sky has said is correct, your friend would need their own account and number before a transfer can occur
you can't transfer numbers between the same network so for example if the friend is a Sky customer they would need to transfer the number they want to keep out of the Sky network to another payg provider then back again to the correct sim on their account
